Research & Instruction Librarian (Engineering) – United States Naval Academy – Annapolis, MD

The United States Naval Academy invites applications for a Research and Instruction Librarian specializing in engineering. Located on the beautiful Severn River in historic Annapolis, the Naval Academy is a Middle States accredited, top tier liberal arts college and service academy with a diverse student body  and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.  Engineering has a central role in educating midshipmen to address the technological needs of the Navy and Marine Corps.  The Research and Instruction Librarian for Engineering will teach information literacy, provide research assistance and serve as subject specialist for faculty and midshipmen in this important discipline.  Candidates with a science or engineering background are preferred.   This is a 12 month faculty position with a 3 year renewable appointment, highly competitive salary, and full federal benefits.
