EEI has a part-time internship opportunity available,in our Information Resources Center (IRC). The intern will assist with transitioning a print library collection to a more virtual knowledge service, including: weeding, deaccessioning and preparing historical print materials for storage or donation, along with updating Web sites and integrated library database systems. Other duties will include: some handling of reference and research requests, as well as performing special projects and a variety of administrative tasks. Graduate-level coursework in library science is strongly preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent communication and organization skills. Experience with database management using SharePoint and cataloging software is preferred. The intern should have an interest in a variety of areas, including digital file management, should be a self-starter, and capable of working well with a team and individually.
