Archives Assistant – Pence Law Library – Washington, DC

The Pence Law Library in Washington, DC is hiring a summer archival assistant to help organize its archives this summer. The position will last from June 1 until August 31, 2015, with an expected work week of 20-27 hours.

The archival assistant will process the collection, create collection guides and other basic finding aids, and draft a records retention policy. At a minimum, the successful candidate should be a graduate student studying library science, archival science, or a related subject and have a demonstrated interest in preservation and archives. Previous experience working with archives is preferred.
