Smithsonian-ACHP Cultural Heritage Fellowship – Anacostia Community Museum – Washington, DC

Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2018 Smithsonian-ACHP Cultural Heritage Fellowship!

This year’s opportunity will be hosted by the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum (ACM) under the theme: Heritage of the District of Columbia. Prospective candidates should have an interest in cultural or historic preservation; local DC candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Current or recent undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in cultural and/or historic preservation are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

To help defray living expenses during the tenure of their fellowship, fellows will receive a $7,000 stipend.

Applications will be accepted through Saturday 6/30/2018, and call for a project proposal, resume, a letter of recommendation, and letters of commitment from advisors at the Advisory Council on History Preservation (ACHP) and ACM.
