Register now for tour of Federal Reserve Library, February 27

Dear friends,

We would like to invite you to join us on a tour of the Federal Reserve Library on Friday, February 27, at 2:00pm. The tour will be led by Chief Librarian, Kristin Vajs.

The deadline to register is February 13. Space is limited to the first 15 registrants. Participants will be subject to a brief background check in order to attend the tour and will receive a follow up email from the Federal Reserve Visitor System requesting date of birth and social security number (or passport number for non-US citizens). You must reply to the email to participate in the tour. Please contact slacua@gmail.com with questions about the tour.

Please feel free to bring any questions you have about the library, but here are some of the things that we suggest: history of the library, digital preservation of data, what it is like to work in the FRB library, collection development, organizational structure, what kind of services the library offers, and how the library fits into the larger culture of the organization.

Space is limited so please register early.

Sincerely,

SLA/CUA Student Group
