Online Pedagogy Workshop Series

LIS Department is planning to hold online pedagogy workshops to introduce and discuss instructional technologies and strategies for online teaching. The virtual sessions will be synchronously run via Adobe Connect Pro.

*   (Workshop 2) 1-2 pm on 10/14 Wednesday: Using multimedia for the engaging and dynamic learning environment: This session will demonstrate best practices of using multimedia to make online courses more engaging and dynamic. Selected multimedia software (e.g., Jing, iSpring, Adobe Connect Pro, etc.) and concrete examples of their usage in the online learning context will be introduced. *   (Workshop 3) 1-2 pm on 11/18 Wednesday: Effective interactions in online courses: This session will cover effective ways to manage online discussion, one-on-one student advising, student assignments, and group projects in online courses. [RSVP required to Dr. Sung Un Kim (<>) by 11/16 Monday]
