Jennifer McDaniel (MSLS 2010), Education and Research Librarian at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences, Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries, has been selected to participate in the Minnesota Institute for Early Career Librarians from Traditionally Underrepresented Groups, from July 21-27, 2012.

Nina McHale (MSLS 2002), has been named by Library Journal as one of the 2012 Movers and Shakers. She is recognized for outstanding leadership in technology. See:

Mark Sweeney (MSLS 1991), chief of the Humanities and Social Sciences Division at the Library of Congress, has been named director of Preservation. His new position begins on April 2, 2012. See:
