Full-time Summer Library Intern

 

For work in 80-person social science research organization located near Dupont Circle.

 

Thirty-five hours per week over 12 weeks this summer. Monday-Friday between 9-5.  Possibility of continuing as part-time (approx. 20 hrs. per week) beginning in September.  $10.00/hour.  To assist with circulation, shelving, inter-library loan.  Other responsibilities include assistance on cataloging and special projects.  Experience or strong interest in taxonomy and/or archival work would be helpful but not necessary.  Familiarity with MS Office, Library of Congress classification and OCLC World Cat desirable, so library experience is preferred.

 

Available around or after May 31. Good opportunity for MLS student.
