Internship in The U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration – Washington, DC

The U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration is seeking an intern to assist with archival work. Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating inventories
  • Processing paper records
  • Arranging and describing records
  • Research projects
  • Working with electronic records

Qualified applicants should be familiar with archival theories and practices, have strong organizational and communication skills, and be detail oriented.

The internship is for the 2019 spring semester, available for either a stipend or educational credit. Start and end dates, hours, and length of internship are flexible to accommodate school and/or other part-time positions. This is a non-designated position, working with records from both the majority and minority offices.
