Elizabeth Lieutenant Becomes a Member of SLA’s Student and New Professionals Advisory Council!

Elizabeth Lieutenant, current CUA MSL(I)S student, was recently appointed to the Special Libraries Association’s Students and New Professionals Advisory Council for a three year term.

The Special Libraries Association (SLA) is a global organization of information professionals that serves more than 7,000 members in 75 countries. The Students and New Professionals Advisory Council is charged with various initiatives to promote and improve the SLA membership experience for students and new professionals.

Elizabeth will bring her expertise as a former SLA/CUA student organization leader and contributor to the Washington, DC Chapter and Social Sciences Division to her role as a Council member. She looks forward to engaging students and new professional in the life of the Association and is honored to represent their interests, needs, and concerns within the Association.
