Whittemore House, built in 1892–94, has housed the WNDC since 1927, and is now the repository of a wide range of political campaign memorabilia, photographs, political cartoons, videos, club records, and books. The intern will assist in cataloging and organizing these collections; entering and editing researched information in appropriate digital format and creating permanent files; gathering additional objects and materials; and assisting with other relevant tasks as needed.  

This position requires a highly organized, committed, reliable, and independent researcher who can lift and carry artwork and boxes that may weigh 30 lbs. She must have mastered general computer, formatting, and simple design skills (Microsoft, Excel), and be available at least one full day per week. This is a volunteer position.
