Submissions are now closed.

Participants are required to submit a paper describing their research.

Paper submissions may be up to four pages in the ACM two-column format described at http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html (Option 2 if LaTeX). Papers should be submitted as PDF files through EasyChair by Monday August 24, 2009 (midnight US Pacific time).

Papers may describe completed work, work in progress, or the author's position on one or more of the workshop themes. Paper submissions based on previously published work are permitted. Papers will be judged based on relevance to HCIR. Idea diversity across all submissions may also be considered. Working notes containing all accepted position papers will be produced in hardcopy for attendees and published online after the event.

When submitting papers, presenters should indicate if they intend to present an accompanying system demonstration and have any particular technical needs.
